FREE WEATHER REPORTS SENT VIA E-MAIL     

Pitsford Hall weather station has been releasing free daily and monthly weather reports via e-mail since 1998. Registration is by the simple submission of an e-mail address. New subscribers are advised to read the Terms & Conditions at the foot of this page before application. You can also be informed of current weather conditions via email or SMS text messaging at set intervals during the day. Further details on this service are given below.

In addition to Daily and Monthly Weather Reports, the weather station releases a Special Weather Report. This report is targetted at the media and is intended as a press release and will contain items of weather news of particular interest to the public. Please contact the station directly via email if you would like to be added to the list for the Special Weather Report.


FREE WEATHER UPDATES VIA E-MAIL/SMS

The text messaging service is an automatic function of Met4Net, the software program that controls the functioning of the automatic weather station. Current weather data is released from this system at 3 hourly intervals between 0600hrs and 2100hrs and delivered free to email accounts and also as an SMS text message to mobile phone users. To register for this service please email the station directly. Users can specify on which days they require text messaging. SMS text messaging is available to users holding Orange, O2 and Vodafone mobile accounts. Click here for details on how to set up this service and interpret the text message.
