CLIMATOLOGICAL STATION
The climatological station at Pitsford Hall maintains the official weather record of the site. Climatological observations have been made continuously on a daily basis since 1998 and the station also holds the climatological records of a number of other sites across Northamptonshire providing a more or less continuous record since 1880.
The climatological station comprises standard instruments whose design conforms to patterns acceptable to the UK Meteorological Office. Observations are made daily at 0900 GMT by trained volunteers which include Sixth Form students at the school as well as staff and volunteers from the local community. The station uses the guidelines laid down by the UK Meteorological Office in terms of record-keeping.
The complete climatological archive of Pitsford Hall is available online via the 'Online Archive'. In addition, more recent observations and monthly weather analyses are also available. Use the links below to access the data you require.
