AUTOMATIC WEATHER STATION

The automatic weather station at Pitsford Hall captures data on temperature, humidity, rainfall, sunshine, wind speed and direction, and barometric pressure every 15 minutes. Both hardware and software are manufactured by Instromet Ltd (see below for the full site specification). The station also benefits from having a Boltek lightning detection system which can provide an early warning of approaching thunderstorms across the county as well as a fully automated email messaging service (TSentry). In addition, Pitsford Hall has an affiliated automatic weather station at Brixworth, 2 miles due north. This site acts as a stand-by ensuring that the weather station can always provide a continuous stream of real-time weather data. You can dial up the automatic weather station for the latest weather data on the move as well as receive SMS text messages. To access the online data use the following links.
