Please note: AWS archived data exists as zipped
text or csv files. These files can be opened and viewed directly using Windows XP. To
ensure that the data can be viewed correctly formatted after download using
previous versions of Windows it is advisable to import them into either an Excel
or Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet. The calculations for climatic averages are based
on a 30 year period of record recalculated every 10 years. Early years
of record at Pitsford Hall may contain a margin of error in these averages as
they are based on extrapolations from neighbouring sites. As our climatic record
grows, so the margin of error will fall. The next recalculation of averages
will be in 2011.
All data is copyright.
