The data stored in this archive may be downloaded free of charge on condition that it is used for individual research or general interest only and that acknowledgement is given to Pitsford Hall weather station. Permission must be sought from the station manager for any other use of the data including re-publication for which a small charge may be levied. For quality-controlled data users should consult the climatological station record in the first instance. The automatic weather station record is an archive of 10 minute weather data that does not meet quality-control standards.  The complete climatological archive comprises weather records dating from 1880. Please note: AWS archived data exists as zipped text files. These files can be opened and viewed directly using Windows XP. To ensure that the data can be viewed correctly formatted after download using previous versions of Windows it is advisable to import them into either an Excel or Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet. For advice on how to view this data correctly, please telephone the station (01604 880306 ext. 314). Monthly registers from January 2004 are in csv format and can be opened directly into Excel. Monthly reports are in plain text format until December 2005, thereafter as ordinary web pages.

MONTHLY WEATHER REPORT (PAPER PUBLICATION)

The station publishes a full weather report each month. The Monthly Weather Report (ISSN 1741-4733) contains the full weather register, statistical summary, UK climatological analysis as well as news items relating to the weather across the county.
